Creating an Equal world of possibilities
A Space for young people with disabilities or additional needs
Equally Abled is more than just a place to meet people – it’s a place to belong. We provide inclusive social opportunities, activities, volunteering roles, and skills development for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our members can make friends, build confidence, learn new skills, gain valuable work experience, and become active members of their community. Through a supportive and welcoming environment, we help young people develop greater independence, improve wellbeing, and prepare for brighter futures.
At Equally Abled, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to feel valued, included, and empowered to reach their full potential. We are committed to creating welcoming, accessible spaces where young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can build friendships, develop confidence, learn new skills, and become active members of their community.
As our organisation continues to grow, we remain focused on providing meaningful opportunities through social activities, life skills development, volunteering, training, wellbeing support, and pathways towards greater independence. We work alongside young people, families, carers, volunteers, and local partners to ensure every individual is supported in a way that recognises their strengths, aspirations, and unique abilities.
Our vision is a community where barriers are removed, differences are celebrated, and every young person has the chance to thrive, contribute, and create a positive future for themselves and those around them. Through collaboration, compassion, and inclusion, we are helping to build a more equal world of possibilities for everyone.

Looking Ahead
Our ambition is to create even more opportunities for young people with SEND to connect, learn, volunteer and thrive. We are working towards expanding our activities, developing new skills and employability programmes, increasing community involvement, and ensuring young people have a voice in shaping their future.
By growing our reach and strengthening local partnerships, we hope to build a future where every young person feels included, valued and empowered to achieve their full potential.
